Are you selling or buying a house in Biglerville Borough?

Per Borough Ordinance 13-2001, an Occupancy Permit must be obtained anytime a property is being sold or transferred names.

An occupancy permit serves multiple purposes such as making sure the buildings are safe and up to code, supplying the Borough with the new owners' names, contact information and mailing address, and occupancy limits to make sure a property is not over crowded.

Once the Borough office receives the completed occupancy permit and application fee, our code enforcement officer with need to schedule an appointment to inspect the property.

The Borough provides water and sewer to the properties in the Borough as well as parts of Butler Township that surround the Borough.
